Ko wai a Zeus?

Te Kōrero o nehera a Zeus.

Ko Zeus te Ātua o te rangi me te rangatira o ngā Ātua taumāhekeheke.  Ko Cronus tōna pāpā, ko Rhea tōna māmā, ko Athena tōna tamahine.
Zeus is the god of the sky and ruler of the Olympian gods. Cronus is his father, Rhea is his mother and Athena is his daughter.

Back in the day Zeus fought his younger brothers Poseidon and Hades for the throne of their father Cronus.  Cronus was the king of kings.  Zeus won the battle between his brothers with the help of his weapon the thunderbolt.

Ko Poseideon te Ātua o te moana, ko Hades te Ātua o te whenua kore.
Poseidon is the god of the sea and Hades is the god of the underworld.
