Kei te ako mātou i te āhua o te Hautau. We are learning about fractions in Pāngarau! Haurua, hautoru me hauwhā hoki!
Ngā Poaka e Toru
Kei te ako mātou e pā ana ki te kōrero o ngā poaka e toru. We are learning the story of the 3 little pigs i te reo Māori. We are using this story in Pānui, tuhituhi, Ngā toi and tīkanga-a-iwi by relating the story to our wharenui. We are also doing a play in class this week!

Marae Noho 2015
Morena Koutou,
We would just want to thank all the parents, teachers,
whanau and students who helped with our Noho marae last week. It was absolutely
awesome.
Appreciation and thanks must go to Matua Tuiono for the
korero on our maunga, Matua Richard and whanau for taking our boys for Mau
Rakau, Whaea Joy and her whanau for teaching us a waiata, Whaea Rachel, Whaea
Oronsay and all those in the back who prepared and cooked our kai.
Without you all we would not have had such a successful evening.
Last but not least to all our wonderful tamariki who are the
most awesome of all for coming to stay and participate in the tikanga that
makes us Maori.
Thanks also to Matua Dudley and Sue for always being there
for us.
Nga mihi nui ki a koutou katoa,
Matua Dereck maua ko Ma Cynthia

Totara Park Trip
In Week 4 the whole of Clendon Park School went on a field trip to Totara Park. The class all had an awesome time swimming, getting some time in the playground to socialise with their peers and we had a sausage sizzle for lunch! We also got to meet some of our Tamariki's whanau who came up to join in the fun!
Toku Wiki Whakata
In Week 3 for our tuhituhi lesson, the class shared what they did in the holidays. We worked on our sentence structures and vocabulary. We had some really fabulous ideas coming from our Tamariki!
